  5. An 87 year old woman finds her dog passed out on the floor and rushes him
  6. into  a  vet.   The vet takes a look and says, "I'm sorry but your dog is
  7. dead."  The  woman  wails,  "But  doctor  this can't be so, he is my only
  8. family, please check again."
  9.  
  10. The  Vet  goes  into  the back and soon returns with a cat in a cage.  He
  11. opens  the  door and the cat circles the dog sniffing and slapping at the
  12. dog  with her paw.  After a few swats the cat returns to the cage and the
  13. Vet  says,  "See the dog is dead, he would never lie still for that other
  14. wise.

  16. The  woman  conceded  and  asked  how  much she owed.  "$330.00," the Vet
  17. replied.  The woman almost passes out and asks, How can that be?"
  18.  
  19. "Well",  replied the Vet, "it's $30.00 for the office visit and disposing
  20. of the dog, then it's $300.00 for the CAT scan."
